In my list, I will not cover Twitter, Facebook, or Pinterest, because for me, these 3 sites are obligatory to create and maintain any business or website that you invest time in. I see many blogs including them in their lists, but don’t seem to understand why because one is a microblogging platform, the other is a social networking site, and Pinterest is an elevated photo-sharing platform. But beside that, like I said in the beginning, these 3 social media accounts need to be set up as soon as you finish your website as their are a must for any business online.

The most important thing to note is that the Reddit community is not your typical audience. They’re very smart and Internet savvy, so trying to play with words to simply insert your plug will not work at all. Tried that and got my account banned pretty quickly.

Stumbleupon is another good site that can drive traffic back to your blog, and is a great option because it’s easy to use, implemented in the majority of the sharing plugins used by website owners, and you can submit almost anything you want, as long as you post it in the right category.

The secret to this social bookmarking site is to make sure that you have the following in every post you submit:

1. Catchy but clear article headline
2. High quality images in the article
3. Add a few descriptive tags
4. Add it in the right category

Conclusion: Easy to use and has a lot of traffic (Alexa rank of 587 in October 2016).

But if you take a look at the categories they have, you will see that almost anything that has a direct or indirect effect on the life or work of a business owner can be published here.

The content is upvoted by the community, so if you invest a little time to upvote others content and make some connections, the community will help you by voting your content and make it more visible on the site. And this can bring a nice amount of traffic to your blog.

Conclusion: Great if you are in the business niche. Has an Alexa rank of 32K (October 2016).
